We gently collect cells via a vaginal swab to examine under a microscope, allowing us to pinpoint exactly where the bitch is in her cycle. This precise tracking helps us time mating or AI more accurately, reducing the risk of missed opportunities and significantly improving your chances of a healthy, successful litter.
To give you complete peace of mind, Hannah provides professional ultrasound scanning around 28 days after the first tie. This gentle session allows us to confirm the pregnancy and check on the viability of each puppy, ensuring you feel reassured and ready for the journey ahead.
Hannah is deeply passionate about supporting breeders and stays at the forefront of the industry by completing new CPD courses every three months, ensuring you receive the most current whelping research and clinical advice. She is a wealth of knowledge and provides a variety of easy-to-follow information guides to help you navigate every stage of the process with confidence. For those seeking extra peace of mind, Hannah offers dedicated, hands-on whelping support directly in your home. By being there in person, she ensures the bitch remains relaxed and the owner feels fully guided, creating a calm, expert-led environment for a safe delivery.
Our neonatal support is dedicated to the vital needs of your newborn puppies during those first crucial days. We provide gentle care and scientific precision, focusing on constant temperature monitoring to protect them from hypothermia, as tiny puppies cannot yet keep themselves warm.Â
Blood Glucose checks for hypoglycaemia and carefully observe each puppy for any signs of weakness or congenital deformities. To ensure every member of the litter has a fighting chance, we offer assisted or tube feeding when necessary. This supportive care helps vulnerable puppies maintain the warmth, energy, and steady growth they need to thrive and grow strong alongside their littermates, giving you peace of mind that your new family is in expert hands.
